Each year The Salvation Army provides 56 million meals to those who are facing the threat of food insecurity
Food Pantry / Grocery Baskets
We, at the Salvation Army in Redondo Beach, are blessed to have a food pantry that is constantly stocked thanks to donations from food banks and grocery stores all over the area. Because of it, we are able to provide some 12,000 grocery baskets annually, including some fresh produce, canned and boxed goods, to approximately 3,800 low-income families and homeless individuals in our community. This is our way to help those in need maintain their independence and dignity, through fighting food insecurity. We do our best to ensure that even the most vulnerable in our community does not go hungry.
Snacks and Personal Items
Quite often, we also receive snacks, personal higiene products, and other personal items that we more than gladly deliver to the homeless community in our area.
